Short and to the point.

I dragged my butt out of bed and to the gym this morning to go to spin class. I got there is 6 min late (i am usually nerd early everywhere but an AM workout, forget about it). So i get there and am hoping the class won’t be too full, they hadn’t even started yet. I’m adjusting my bike thinking how lucky i am  only to here the gym worker telling the other 5 people in the class that there is no instructor this morning……….so now what?

2 of the people left but the rest of us rode on!!!!!! Slowly as the hour went on people trickled out. I made it about 50 min.

I am proud of myself for not using thr excuse of no class to get me out of my workout.

On the flip side my knees are super achey! This is the first time i have ever worked out this much and this consistently and my body is like WTF?

So tonight i iced my knees and will be taking it easy. Tomorrow is my rest day anyways and Saturday instead of spin amd swim I’m just going to swim. Hopefully ill be able to do my 5 miles on Sunday. Fingers crossed!

I may have gone a little overboard with my dinner tonight…..

We’ll call this a cheat meal lol. Now i need to be very good for a while hahahahahaha.

And now im exhausted so good night!!!!!

Its the last Monday before Daylight Savings!!!!!!! Enjoy the last dark week 🙂

Monday-  Run 5 min, walk 1:30min X 6

Tuesday- AM strength training

Wednesday- AM swim

Thursday- AM spin class

Friday- OFF

Saturday- Not sure yet, it will either be a hike or Spin class and swim at the gym

Sunday- Yoga and run 5min, walk 1:55 X 5 miles

Now for the fun stuff……i got my first Stitch Fix box!!!!!
So in it were a pair of jeans that actually fit perfectly (i can barely do that in the store how did they manage it?) but i just bought myself 2 new pairs of jeans so i can’t justify keeping them.

Which i like but would probably never wear (though i will to work tomorrow lol)

I like the lace detailing on the sleeves but it does nothing for me so it will be going back.

I actually really like this top but don’t know if it does anything for me. I am going to wear it tomorrow with the necklace, jeans and boots and see how i feel. This is the only thing i would consider keeping from this box.

Good Afternoon!!!

Another Monday has come. Sorry i didnt post my weekend wrap-up. I dealt with some drama last night and was just not in the mood to post anything.

Monday- PM run: run 5 min, walk 1.5 min X 6

Tuesday- AM strength training

Wednesday- AM Swim

Thursday- AM Spin class

Friday-OFF

Saturday- AM spin class

Sunday- AM Yoga, PM run: run 4.5 min, walk 1.5 min X 9-10 (whatever it takes to get to 4 miles.

 

I am getting my first Stich Fix box this week!!!!! It is supposed to come Friday i think. Here is my referral code if you want to try it!!

 

 

Weekend Wrap-up

Not too much going on this weekend.

Did spin class Saturday morning

Hit target for some travel sized supplies.

Took Artemis to the dog park.

Tried Hormel vegetarian chili for the first time….not as good as Nally’s in my opinion.

Had some serious anxiety about dropping Artemis off at my roommates parents house for my trip.

I am slowly relaxing but will constantly have it in the back of my head until i pick her back up.

Now it’s time for bed, i got sucked into Grease Live and stayed up later than i would have like.

How was your weekend?

Any advice for relaxing when leaving dogs/kids with other people forba vacation or whatever weekend?

What is the opposite of thirsty thursday?

I almost didn’t get up for spin class. I already wanted to go back to sleep then Artemis cuddled up to me and i soooo wanted to skip spin but then i thought about having to tell my trainer i didn’t go and that ill be gone next week so yea….

I got my butt up and went……and wanted to die.  Spin class instructors are sadistic. But they get me to push above and beyond so yea.

Take a moment to enjoy and experience this. ……a completely empty locker room at the gym. For like a FULL MINUTE. This is unheard of at my gym.

Exhaustion does not cover what i feel. 4 workouts in 48 hours. I am so taking tomorrow off workouts. I am still going to bed early even though i get to ‘sleep in’ tomorrow.

They have these for dogs!!!! 3 flavors where on sale at target so i got 1 of each for Artemis to try. Tonight with her kibble she had pumpkin and oat puree. She enjoyed it.

It was not fully dark when i left work tonight!!!!!!!! The light is coming back!!! I am sooo stoked!

Wow when did 9:30 on a Friday night become late to me? Hahahaha! I don’t know whether to be ashamed or proud.

Today’s hydration; water, tea and coffee.

First lunch was leftover pot roast i found in the freezer that i had made a few months ago over some rice. Second lunch was yakisoba!!! Apperently I’m a bit obssessed.

A lazy sleepy Thursday

So i was supposed to get up and go to spin class Thursday morning but i didn’t sleep well and was still sore and fatigued from Tuesday’s leg workout so i decided to sleep for an extra 2 hours instead. Also ibwas playing it a little safe because there is a nasty stomach bug going around.

Sometimes on my morning commute i wonder how i ended up back in city traffic everyday.

Reading has been a big theme for me lately. I’ve been bindging and i love it!

I enjoyed a pretty sunrise one day this week.

I got yakisoba!!! noodles yesterday and it was delicious!!! I feel like yakisoba sould always been said with an exclamation point LOL.
Since i didn’t do spin i turned Thursday into my rest day. I got home from work. Took the dog for a walk, because miraculously it wasnt raining!!!! Then i plopped down in front of the TV and  didn’t move until bedtime. It was nice, but very unproductive.

Tonight, Friday,  i am going to run 1 minute, walk 2 minuted x10.
Tomorrow morning is 5k race day!!!!
