Here’s to next week!

Weekly Workouts

Sunday – 7000 steps

Monday – walked 1 mile and did 1/4 of an ab workout hahaha

Tuesday – ran 1.5 miles

Wednesday -7000 steps

Thursday – 7000 steps

Friday- Arm workout and 7000 steps

Saturday – 7000 steps

3 workouts total this week with 10 min of treadmill walking at the end of any night I didn’t run to hit my step goal. Slowly but surely I am getting back to it. Next week my goal is 4 workouts.

Weekly Workouts

Monday- ran 1.5 miles (1 mile for time, .5 of walk run intervals)

Tuesday – off but hit 7000 steps

Wednesday – 1 set of strength workout for legs and walked on the treadmill for 20 min

Thursday – ran 1 mile for time

Friday- off but hit 7000 steps

Saturday – 1 set of strength workout for arms (gotta get my stamina back after this sickness. I am still coughing up phlegm)

Still easing back in but finally feel like I’m starting to get back to it.

Stay healthy! The colds and flus this year are no joke!

Getting back at it

Getting back to school and routine after the holiday chaos

This was our first full week back.

Monday

We got to an outdoor ‘farmschool’ preschool 1 day a week mostly for socialization and new experiences

Tuesday

We did a pond study

They are loving their sticker books

Thursday – we studied spiderwebs

We read Eric Carl’s ‘The Very Busy Spider ‘ and made a giant spiderweb.

Friday

Art. These were circle collages
We made a rabbit burrow. I was a fox and chased my little rabbits around trying to eat them hahahaha.

There was also gymnastics, a trip to the library, letter recognition, a little math and so much more thrown in.

The week went much smoother than I thought it would. We did have normal young kid tantrums and issues like that but the school part went great!

Weekly Workouts

We are all still hacking and coughing over here though we are on the mend.

I did some small workouts

Monday – run 1 mile without stopping

Wednesday – run 1.5 miles ( 1 mile without stopping then run/walk)

Friday – walked 1 mile at a level 3 incline

Saturday – walked 1 mile at a level 3 incline

Hopefully we continue to improve and I can add more in.

Book Review: Read-aloud Handbook

This book had some very interesting parts! I’m glad I read it but it had a lot of dry parts. Like really dry. There were absolutely some parts I skipped and jumped over.

I do recommend all parents take a peak at this book to really see how important reading to your kids is. And spread the word to any parents you know.
