Good Afternoon!!!

Another Monday has come. Sorry i didnt post my weekend wrap-up. I dealt with some drama last night and was just not in the mood to post anything.

Monday- PM run: run 5 min, walk 1.5 min X 6

Tuesday- AM strength training

Wednesday- AM Swim

Thursday- AM Spin class

Friday-OFF

Saturday- AM spin class

Sunday- AM Yoga, PM run: run 4.5 min, walk 1.5 min X 9-10 (whatever it takes to get to 4 miles.

Farming Fridays and randomness

Happy Friday!!!!!

The sun is actually out here today in the Pacific Northwest so i just went for a little walk on my lunch and soaked up a little natural vitamin D.

I just ordered this:

I like wish lists on amazon because they dont clutter up my cart and whenever i have a little extra income……hahahaha like that actually happens, i know where to go to grab 1-2 things.

I just bought new running shoes off amazon!

Thankfully it is a brand i already use so i know my size and all that…….$31 on amazon!! How awesome is that!!!! In about a 5-6 weeks i’ll pop into the REI near me and see if they have any running shoes on clearance so i can have 2 pairs to switch back and forth with.

So as i said i have a 5k run tomorrow, yay! My goal is to be 1 minute (or more) faster than my time from December, Sunday will be yoga. Those are the only set in stone plans i have, some reading would be good.

Happy Monday!!!!!

Monday- Run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes x 10

Tuesday- weight training session with trainer

Wednesday- swim session with trainer

Thursday- spin class

Friday- OFF

Saturday- 5k and dog park

Sunday- yoga and intervals: run 1 min walk 2 min x 10

Sadly i am going to have to suspend my training (with my trainer) for a month or two once this set of sessions is over because it has put a serious dent in my credit card.  I love it and i love her but i just can’t afford it right now.

Holy crap it’s 2016!!!

Monday-20 minute morning yoga video. Its like a wake up routine focusing on different areas each day. 45min bike ride, medium effort. Walk 5 min, run 2 minutes x 6.

Tuesday-20 minute yoga video. Weights with trainer, run 1 mile on the treadmill at 15min pace

Wednesday- morning yoga video

Thursday-am pool session with trainer

Friday- morning yoga video

Saturday- am spin class, run 1 mile on the treadmill at a 15 min pace

Sunday-am yoga class at gym, walk 5 min run 2 min x 6.

Weekend Wrap up

And another weekend comes to a close.   This morning my roommate C and i went to yoga at 24 hour fitness. Today was a good class i got really meditative and realized i need to do yoga every week to stretch everything put with all my training.
I made myself a delicious breakfast

Then relaxed a bit.
After the relaxation on went downstairs to our mini ‘home’ gym and ran 2 miles, walked a bit then biked for 40 minutes while watching the movie Taken.

I really should not be attracted to a man who could be my dad lol.

While working out i got a text from the BF he is safe in India lol. He found a little cafe with Wi-Fi so he was able to text me for a few.

This Christmas will be very bitter sweet for me. I always felt like my mom’s house was still home but that is gone and i don’t really feel like where i am now is home and i feel in-between familes. I have grown up and my ‘family’ from childhood doesn’t really exist anymore but i have created my own family yet.

Christmas is what 12 days away and i still have no idea what I’ll be doing. No idea if I’ll be chilling at home alone like thanksgiving, if the bf and i will be spending it together, if we will try the meet the parents again, if I’ll go to my roommates family Christmas…….no clue.

Back to the Grind.

I so did not want to come home from my weekend away. It was so nice to just sit in limbo. No work, no being dissapointed at how much my boyfriend is working. I just got lost in book after book surrounded by my family. 

I was happy to get back to the gym tonight though. It is the first night i have felt strong since my surgery. Like i might finally be getting back to really working out.

I just want mid-january to come and hopefully things can be good again. Boyfriend’s job should slow down i should be full force working out again by then.

It’s just been a rough 6 weeks and i still have 4 more semi-rough ones to go if I stick with it.

On the plus side i drank 8 whole glasses of water today!!! It’s been awhile since that happened.

Also my trainer and i set the difficult but attainable goal of me losing 5lbs my the end of the year. Thats is 22 days!

This is such a good one because i haven’t been drinking enough water lately.

Monday- today i was relaxing, saying goodbye to family and flying home.

Tuesday- 7pm training appt

Wednesday- walk the dog, bike at home

Thursday- 7pm training appt

Friday-walk the dog, run 1.5 miles

Saturday/Sunday run 2 miles, walk the dog.

Artemis and i are still getting into a walking schedule.

Monday Motivation**May 25, 2015

Howdy all!!!!

The best way to keep my goal of being fit again is to keep it in the forefront of my mind. I already talked about putting motivational pictures on my phone, which i like most people look at a million times a day, and that is going great.

Now i am taking it a step further. I am setting up a reward system.

This is obviously to help me lose my initial weight that i have gained back and then some.

And to keep me going long after that.

I think this will be a great way to buy new fitness gear and other things i need to stay motivated to stay in shape.

Another thing i need to do but haven’t done yet is set up a motivation board. These seem tl be insanely helpful. Since i haven’t done it yet i pulled some examples from google to give to and idea. They can range from simple tl complex, whatever you need to motivate you.

No excuses

Hola!!!!

Everyday we all make excuses to ourselves; he probably didn’t get my last text so it’s ok to text him again, i was 100 calories under my limit yesterday so i can have that extra cookie today, my stomach is a little bloated today so it’s ok if i take today off working out, etc….

I make just as many excuses as the average person, maybe more, it is something i am working on.

Today i am happy to say that yesterday my excuses did not get the best of me.

There is a park in my town that has workout stations surrounding the playground, freaking genius if you ask me, anyways i met my girlfriend Stephanie and her daughter for coffee then we were going to workout at the park while her daughter played. Of course the one day we choose to workout it rains and the closer we get to the playground the harder the rain gets, it’s just too dangerous to workout in the pouring rain on bars and balls, especially with her daughter so we call it a day.

I already have my workout clothes on and as much as i am getting bored of the elliptical and as much as i wanted to do the fun playground workout i made myself do an hour on the elliptical, and of course i didn’t regret it.
