Tough Tuesday

Howdy!

Yesterday was back to work after the weekend.

I’m having a hard time right now. I’ve been very up and down lately with my mood. I feel like i am constantly fighting off depression, thank goodness for working out.

Monday Motivation**January 18, 2015

Happy Monday!!!!!

Monday- Run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes x 10

Tuesday- weight training session with trainer

Wednesday- swim session with trainer

Thursday- spin class

Friday- OFF

Saturday- 5k and dog park

Sunday- yoga and intervals: run 1 min walk 2 min x 10

Sadly i am going to have to suspend my training (with my trainer) for a month or two once this set of sessions is over because it has put a serious dent in my credit card.  I love it and i love her but i just can’t afford it right now.

Weekend Wrap up

And another weekend comes to an end. What idiot thought up the 5 day work week with only 2 days off?

Friday’s hair held up to take me through Saturday spin class :mrgreen: and made it to the dog park for the 15 min that C and i managed to walk in the pouring rain before throwing in the towel.

Still loving my last purchase from fabletics. These great long pants.

Yep after spin class that totally happened. Protien, recovering and a mocha all blended together in my blender bottle.

Pulled out an old bad boy i bought at the rock amd roll half expo in 2014. This great massager that uses like electrodes or something.

I slept all wrong on my neck. Used it Saturday and Sunday.

Major sugar craving Saturday night. This is how i handled it.

Sunday Mornings awsome breakfast. Eggs, veggies and cheese on sourdough toast with a little salsa on top.

Used my heart rate monitor for the first time.

I saved my workout and it stored to my phone. Yes i ran at snail speed. Actually i did intervals. My best one was 8:24. My worst was like 19:30 LOL.

Book Review**The Witches Daughter

The witches daughter

I really enjoyed this book. It followed one woman who becomes a witch to save herself through several ‘lives’. She is immortal so the book checks in with her a few times over different decades, i really liked that.

I found it really interesting because of the sneak peak through the decades. I feel like it was a more unique twist on the same old story. I would definitely reccomend this book.

Today was a pretty good day overall. I got up and made it to spin class today whichwas awesome and totally killed me.

Started off really well this morning!!

I start half marathon training next week!!! I need to do a post about all my planned races.

When i dont walk for an hour a red bar appears and my garmin buzzes at me.

Dinner was homemade pizza!!! Though i ate 1 more slice than i should have lol.

Yay i hit my goal!!!!

And i figured out the calories. That is how many calories i have burned all day, including just living, breathing, and body function. 

Ok sleep time for me!

Happy hump day!!! We are more than half way done with the week!!!

Was at the gym at 5am for a swim session.

Enjoyed a bagel from Starbucks for 2nd breakfast (i had a protien bar before my workout). I threw away 1/4 of the bagel before I even started eating it. I never need the whole thing to be full but i always eat the whole thing which is just empty calories.

Howdy!!!!

How is your week going? Mine has been a whirlwind!

Yesterday my ex lost his dog that he has had for 10 years. I kept him company and tried to cheer him up and be there for him. Irregardless i care about him and don’t want him to he in pain.

Pasta is a cheap staple for me lately.

And with that it is sleep time for me. I only got 4 hours of sleep last night. Yes i somehow still got my butt up and went to the gym at 5am this morning. And have a 5am swim appt tomorrow.

Monday Motivation**January 11, 2016

Monday- run 3 miles

Now Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday aren’t locked into a plan yet. I do know 1 day i will have a strength training session, 1 day i will have a training session in the pool and if my trainer and i can work i schedule out i will hopefully have either Tuesday or Thursday morning free so i can go to a spin class before work.

I need to make up for the lack of weekend workouts.

Friday- OFF

Saturday- spin class amd run around the dog park with Artemis.

Sunday-Yoga and run 3 miles.

Weekend Wrap up

Well today was noty best day ever. I got up still pissed off from the night before so i had no desire to go to yoga at the gym (though of course that is all the more reason i should have) i did the few errands that were pretty necessary like 2 loads of laundry since clean sheets and clothes are sort of a must and I went grocery shopping so i wouldn’t sabbatoge my week before it even started but other than that it was a shitty day.

I went on my coffee date, which wasn’t horrible or anything but i left it so depressed. I got in my car and just wanted to cry.  Dating is just making me miss my ex so much. At this point i don’t want anyone else.

I texted my ex because we had mentioned getting coffee when his work slowed down and i needed to know if that was actually an option or just something he said. I would never really be able to move on if even a tiny percentage of me was thinking it was a possibility. We are going to make plans to meet for coffee this week one day after work.

Truthfully I don’t know whether to be happy or sad about this. It could turn out amazing or i could get my already broken heart shattered into a million pieces.

I guess we will see.

Back to work tomorrow.
