Just go with it

I slept in and had a great pre-run breakfast 

Took an hour to digest and then decided I have no desire to run today. 

I was supposed to do 12 miles but, nope, not happening. 

So today became an awesome lazy day. My last lazy day in awhile. 

I also did some meal prep

Chicken Cordon Bleu 

Then to make life easier some steamer veggies

And together it all makes a pretty balanced diet.

Then I toppled off my lazy day with a big cheat meal

I hate that this crap tastes so good. 

Today was a not great day for me but instead of not feeling great about it or beating myself up I’m just going to go with it and start fresh tomorrow.

And kick A** next week. 

Simple Saturday 

Yay for the weekend!!!

I have decided to get my personal training certification! I trained my first client today, and by trained I mean coached for free so I can get in some practice while I study.

I was pretty excited.

When I got back in made like a chicken fajita quesadilla thing

It was pretty delicious. 

Then I made some slow cooker dog food

I decided I wanted a warm bathing experience tonight so I boiled some water

And combined it with some cold water for a nice 2 inch high bath that lasted about 10min hahahahaha!

Can’t wait to get to the new place.

Planning for the week

Hi guys!!

I have talked about my meal planning and planning the weeks workouts but this week I planned my outfits ahead, and I will tell you, it made my mornings so much easier!!!!

I knew what to pack when going to the gym, and I knew what to throw on last minute when I overslept.  

I checked the weather on Sunday night

And planned my outfits according.  

This made my life soooo much easier!!!!

I plan to continue doing this. 

Mid-Week Motivation!!

We are almost at Friday! Hold on and we can do it!!

Motivation has been short for me lately so i have had to push myself and bargin and make deals with myself to get me to workout. Which is really funny that i have come to a place in my life where cutting my long run short on Sunday, not working out on Monday, only working out once Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and having no plans to workout Friday is a bad week for me. I’m actually kind of proud of that.

I have definitely changed my lifestyle for this.

More than half way done

So stoked!!! We are on the downhill of the week!!!

Everyone at work seemed to be tired today. 

I only drank 1/3 of it. I am careful about my energy drink consumption since they aren’t very good for you.  

This was the protien sample I tried. I think I might order some to interchange with my vega. 

They got a lot of work done next door. Poor people lost everything.  

Trying to do high protien, low carb for a month. Everything has carbs! What the hell!!!!!????

Mushroom chicken and beef and broccoli,  I ate the beef and broccoli on the way home. 

No cookie for me. Oh and what is up with Panda Express’ new fortunes???!! They aren’t even really fortunes, they suck!!!!

My awesome roommate brought me a Starbucks!! I drank a little of it and threw the rest in the freezer for tomorrow. I have started getting soy milk in it to limit my dairy. 

Quick speed workout. I really didn’t want to do anything tonight but I forced myself to do a little something. 

And chugging down some more protien before bed. 

Crappy morning

I slept in this morning which was wonderful but at 7:30 on the dot workmen showed up to work on the other burned out half of the Duplex, finally. 

Remember that?

The workmen showing up isn’t the problem,  the problem is that my poor puppy was scared out of her mind! She does not do well with loud noises. She was shaking so bad. 

I wrapped her up on the couch

If I held her close she would stop shaking 

This sad mommy did not want to leave her baby to go to work. I am stressed out!

It is going to be a long day because I am going to be worried about her. 

On another note, I tried a sample of protien powder this morning, cookies and cream flavored, it’s like they know me!!!!!

I love cookies and cream ice cream so this was right up my alley. 

It has actual cookie bits in it! I’m excited about that. 

It is pretty tasty. 

I may consider ordering some of this to supplement my vega chocolate and greens for a little change now and then. 

It is whey protien which I don’t love but if I only take it now and then it shouldn’t be too bad. 
What kind of protien powder do you like?

Favorite flavor?

I tend to be chocolate all the way but I haven’t tried too many others, mostly because I want a vegan protien powder for my main protien. But I think I will be branching out a bit. 

Tuesday tangents

I’m sitting in my car on my lunch relaxing. 

I am listening to the serial serial podcast. Which is people directing the serial podcasts………I’m not obsessed with serial at all lol

I am staring at the blackberries out my window

I am so eating these before I head back.

Gym bag is my life

I had a party foul this morning. Dropped my yogurt bite a day it was half melted, then laughed so hard I cried when my coworker said it was a bird turd. Clearly I didn’t get enough sleep last night.

August mile a day challenge

Hi friends!!!  I am going to try a little challenge on the blog!! I hope you will join in.

It is going to be very simple, travel a mile a day on your own energy.

You can:

walk, bike, swim, run, row and anything else you can think of that can take you the distance. For anything water based there are 1609.34 meters in a mile. As for steps in a mile i found this on beach body blog:

it is also totally ok to combine several of these to make a mile, you could swim 800M and walk half a mile or swim 400m, walk half a mile and row 400m, you chose each day how you want to do this.

However you do it just get that mile in.
