How are your workouts going this week?

I ran Tuesday and Wednesday morning, this morning i slept in so i will be dragging my butt to the gym tonight to do some weights. My goal is to get in, do some weights and get out. I want to be quick and efficient. I need to get some leg workouts in and some arm workouts. I am not too worried about my abs because that tones as i run and do all the other stuff.

I miss weighted squats!!! Who would have thought?! Moving has thrown my whole schedule off so i am trying to get a new schedule set. Also i am dating someone so that is taking up some time. Got to balance the life!

Also i really need to find my book to study so i can start working on my personal training certification. Unpacking will be a serious theme this weekend.

Now send me some strong will to only have 1 scoop of the ice cream that will be served and work today.

First full day back at work

Thankfully it wasn’t crazy busy so I was able to make sure I’m all caught up and good to go. Also it’s super nice that it was my first full day and tomorrow is ready Thursday!

Artemis and I went for a run this morning

After work I met a guy for dinner, Thai food!!!! It was yummy, a little reading and now it’s time for bed. Night night. 

Loooong weekend! Pt 2

Slowly but surely we got things sorted 

Took some trips down memory lane before finally tossing a lot of things……I think I’m a mini hoarder. 

Oh the memories

We now have everything crammed into the new place and need to go through it and organize, put things away, throw away/donate more

Yesterday I went for my first run post move and after eating so much crap and not running for 2 weeks

That is also my new cube storage, how cute is it???!!!

Loooong weekend! Pt 1

Whew!!! And with that we are completely out of the old place. 

Artemis cowered on the couch all Friday morning while the movers were there.

My mom is flipping amazing and helped sooooo much!

There was a lot to move and go through 

Lots of cleaning at the new and old place

Lots of fast food happened over the last 3 days

Poor Artemis has had a hard weeked….though she is finally settling down.

Just wanted to give you a quick update. More to come tomorrow!!!!

Moving day 2

Went to work this morning had planned on working the whole day. I ended up not feeling good and left early. Transfered half my Tuesday vacation day to this afternoon.

I rested a bit then packed on commercial of shows. 

The movers are coming tomorrow to take the big stuff then I will be taking a few boxes at a time to unpack as I got. So my room looks like it barfed itself up

It is going to be a loooong annoying weekend. 

On the plus side it did finally get to wash my hair!!!! I took a shower at the new place. It feels sooooo good to be clean from head to toe again.

Book on tape review

This book was super fun because she has such a GREAT attitude and wit. She is funny! And of course i love listening to almost anything in an accident. You also get to hear from her trainer and his perspective and at the end she has a section where other people she has run with tell their stories.

It was good, fun, light hearted and great to listen to when running. Listening to her talk about her parts jiggling when she ran, while I ran was awesome. It is great to know that other people out there are also not perfect when they run.

Tuesday tangents 

Yay!!! My mom gets to town tomorrow to help us move!!!

We met the landlord tonight and got the keys. We moved over a load of 5 boxes and a TV. Mostly dishes so we can get the kitchen all set up.

I made a delicious teriyaki burgers for dinner

I got my Personal trainer certification study material!!!! So excited to start studying!


I found some family jewelry while unpacking

I don’t think either is worth anything other than sentimental value. 

Poor Artemis had a trying night, bringing the boxes and unpacking them freaked her out a little i think. It will take her time to get used to the new place

Excuses, Excuses

Excuses, Excuses is right! All i have had lately are exucses.

I have not worked out since THURSDAY!!! That is 4 days! Thankfully i am meeting a client tonight to do some cardio with so i can snap myself out of this funk. I need get my butt back into gear.

This is why you are never supposed to go more than 2 days in a row without working out, you fall into a no workout funk…….or maybe that is just me.

My excuses have been that my dog wants to cuddle (which is amazing, puppy cuddles are the best), that i just plain dont want to get out an run today, that i trained someone (thats counts as a workout right?) Etc, Etc.

I am going to use you guys to keep me honest for the next week, if you dont see a workout on this blog feel free to CALL ME OUT!

This will be a light workout week for me because i am moving to a new duplex

Monday: PM Run 3 miles with the dog

Tuesday: 6 am strength training

Wednesday: PM Speed workout

Thursday: 6 am strength training

Friday: Moving day!!!!

Saturday: Unpacking all day

Sunday: the goal is 13 miles but with moving that probably isnt going to happen.

I took Monday and Tuesday off work to finish unpacking and get settled in so i might change my long run to one of those days.
