TGIF!!!

Happy Friday!!!!

Are you looking forward to the weekend, because i am !!!!!! I dont have any amazing plans or anything, i am going for my first short run tomorrow with my doggie, hopefully she doesn’t trip me. Then i am helping my friend pack. The boyfriend and i are hopefully having dinner together on Saturday (his work is crazy so i never know fo sure until the night of), then Sunday is just me and Artemis hanging out.

Made a delicious Blue Apron meal, Lentil Bolognase (probably not the right spelling) It is flipping delicious!!! I had it for lunch yesterday and today, I also have a full serving in the freezer and like a half a serving in the fridge to snack on this weekend!

I added some extra noodles i had to make a little more.

I was really impressed with this meal.  I will definitely be making this one again.

So stoked to have 3 workouts in the bag so far this week!!!! VERY happy to be back in workout mode, though i am starting slow and building back up.

Blue Apron week 4 meal 1: tortilla soup

I enjoyed a little coffee while drinking it

My theraflu tea was putting me to sleep.

I love that it had me toast my own tortilla chips, it was super easy but took the meal to the next level.

I added a can of kidney beans to it for a little more protien and body.

I also added more cheese lol.

Once again i got about 4 meals out of this instead of 2, which makes me happy happy happy!!!

And in my box i ended up with an extra avocado and an extra bag of cilantro which worked out perfectly since i had extra soup.

Still drinking lots of tea and using essential oils to try and kick this cold.

Howdy!!!

Its Thursday!!! Which means tomorrow is Friday!!!!! Gotta look on the bright side right?

That made me laugh so i had to put it in. And it is totally true.

My trainer kicked my butt Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday I felt it in my thighs and glutes!

Spent some time being a pedestrian lol. Dropped my mom’s car off to get the oil changed then walked the rest of the way to work, then walked back to the dealership at lunch. Thankfully i rememebered to not wear heels that day hahahaha!

I have been pretty good about my snacks so far this week:

Tonight my trainer kicks my butt again.

Tuesday i counted my walking as my cardio hahahaha and wednesday I did a sort of HIIT workout on the recombent (did i spell that right) bike at my place. I watched some TV while doing interval training.

AHHHH my mom comes into town tomorrow, i am so excited! Yes i am totally a mama’s girl, i miss her!!! and on top of that holy crap we going car shopping, i am buying my first car!!!! Don’t judge that i am 27 and buying my first car lol.

Mom is staying through to my surgery next weekend. Can’t wait to share all the trouble we get into with you!!!

Weekend Catch-up

Hi!!!!!!!

It’s Tuesday!! After today we are like 1/3 through the work week!!!!

I didnt post over the weekend but here is how it went.

Friday night i went over to my friend Sarah’s and we had Papa Murphy’s pizza and watched Hot Pursuit, (i know i am behind lol) it was super cute. ( I need to remember to return it to redbox lol.

Saturday Carra (roommate) and i hit the gym and did the elliptical then i had a great lazy day, binged on “How to get away with murder” and did laundry.

Sunday Carra and i went to a yoga class at 24 hour fitness…not bad for a gym class. Then went to a bakery/cafe in SW Portland that was freaking phenomenal!

I had an egg and cheese sandwich on like a cibatta roll with this tomato onion relish, super good!!!!

Then i finished ‘how to get away with murder’ season 1 and caught up on this season so far. I am totally addicted. Did some more laundry and some grocery shopping.

Sunday night i went over to the BF’s house and he made me dinner, he just signed up for blue apron and made this salmon dish with a farro salad…….holy hanna, it was delicous. I am so signing up for Blue Apron.

I still haven’t gone a corn maze and my time is running out!!!!!!

My Labor day weekend

So originally i was supposed to be hiking 84 miles of the PCT this weekend but there are like 8 wildfires going on above and below me and i would have been hiking out there. I didn’t check to see if the wildfires were where i was going to be but with the smoke and storms and wind doing who knows what to the fires and the directions they were going i decided not to chance it. The trail will be there later.

I still enjoyed my 3 days off work and did close to nothing and loved it!!!!

Then Friday night my boyfriend and i headed to the coast for a long weekend. It was wonderful!

That was the view from our room, ot was so beautiful!
I ate my weight in clam chowder and of course hit a candy shop and got some salt water taffy.

We watched the wild life.
We climbed some rocks and saw whales and a leopard sea lion, which was super cool.

I had a smile plastered to my face most of the weekend.

I stood by and watched while he climbed some rocks i didnt want to climb lol.

He goes to the coast a lot so he knew some cool places to explore that i never would have found.

Overall it was a great weekend!

Though i ate way too much and didnt really exercise at all and i felt it in how bloated i was. Time for healthy food and a system clean out. And lots and lots and lots of water.
