Weekend Wrap up

Let’s see, Friday night I finished my book for book club the meeting is on Tuesday.

Saturday I got up and went to spin class

Then met my friend/co-worker at the farmers market

I got pita bread and humans and tabouli

Some flipping delicious local honey, I am eating a spoonful a day to help with allergies, I also started putting it in tea

I got more strawberries, and some local eggs and spring onions. I was craving eggs, I had them yesterday and today. They are half gone already lol.

The rest of the weekend for me was about reading and resting after having to deal with these allergies. How do people do this? I am feeling better. But only feel about 90%

Back on track

Sucess!!!!! The Claritin seems to be starting to work so tomorrow it is back to the workouts.  9am spin class followed by the farmers market to get some fresh local produce.

Not much to report today, another crazy day at work. I went for a nighttime walk with my roommate which was nice and finished my book for book club,  the meeting is one Tuesday. 

Artemis got really lucky with her dinner tonight, I found some leftover pot roast in the freezer that I had made last year so she got that on top of her normal kibble. Man did she scarf that down.  I tasted the broth first to make sure it hadn’t gone bad or gotten a serious freezer taste and it was still yummy. She loved it! And she went on the mile and a half walk with my roommate and I so she had a pretty good night.

OK I am yawning like 3 times a minute so it’s bed time. See you in the AM for spin!!!!

Do you feed your dog (s)/pets human food?
We have fed our pets human food my whole life. The only thing we didn’t feed our last dog was chocolate and he lived to be like 17. 

Thursday thoughts

Last night was trivia and it was super fun! I am really enjoying it.
I haven’t worked out since my run on Sunday. I gave up trying to schedule my workouts with my trainer this week after 3 failed attempts.

I have been sooooo excited and don’t feel like I’m getting enough rest and have been blaming on stress like I told you on Tuesday.

Today I resorted to this instead of full throttle though I only drank 3/4ths of it.

I had some healthy food

And drank some Gatorade mixed with water

Which helped me get in 7 glasses of water.

And after talking to a girl at work I think I may have………ALLERGIES!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I have gone my whole life never having allergies but I guess stress can agrivate it more so I may have allergies now.

I bought this at lunch. We will see how it goes. This weekend I will get some local honey to help as well.

Tuesday Drama (nothing serious don’t panic)

Work is still crazy. I haven’t slept well in 2 days, I cancelled my Monday and Tuesday workouts. After work today I picked up some dream water to help me sleep well tonight.

This morning my roommate let me know that tomorrow a realtor is coming by tomorrow to check out the house. I got to come home and clean. Super fun. Now I just took my dream water and am excited to sleep and hopefully let the stress go.

I have no idea what I am going to do, rent around here is soooo expensive.

Wish me luck. I’m going to pass out.

Sunday funday

And another weekend comes to close. I slept in and loved it. Thankfully it was a relatively cool and overcast day so I was able to lounge and wake up

Headed out around 11:30am. Artemis made it to 3.6 miles today another distance increase for her. Then I dropped her off and went out for another 7.5 by myself.

How was your weekend?

A full Saturday.

The last two days have been on the warmer side. Yesterday I listened to a book on tape in my car on my lunch and soaked up the sun

Got up this morning and dragged myself to spin class

It was a killer class.
Then I met a co-worker at the farmers market and walked away with a decent haul

Snap peas, strawberries, romaine lettuce, garlic cheese and some croissants for sandwiches

I had to taste test everything right?

Then my date picked me up and we went to the zoo!

You are actually pretty close to some of these animals with not much of a barrier, its pretty trippy. I will say I would totally support the animals eating some of the people that were there today. Natural selection, its like people don’t remember that these are real live mostly wild animals.
After that we went to the movies and stuck with the theme and saw the jungle book. It was actually really cute.

Now it is time to pass out. I have no alarms set!!!!! I get to sleep in for the first time in at least 7 weeks!!! I do want to be out the door by about 10am though,11 miles tomorrow!!!! I’m pretty excited!!!!

Halfway through the week

Happy Thursday!!!!!

Yesterday was insane! Work was crazy in the afternoon, i was here late and collapsed when i got home.

Yesterday morning i did swim training which went really well.

i needed sugar and caffiene. No i do not normally drink energy drinks, in fact i almost never energy drinks but this week has been crazy.

just started this book on tape this morning and i am LOVING it!!! It is so cute!!! The reader reminds me of Steve Martin when he was in Father of the Bride.

Got my last check from the tulip festival which will get me through to my next paycheck and help me pay some of my last personal training payment.

Speaking of money……..i dont know if i told you this yet or not, but my landlord has decided to sell our house. We get a great deal on rent because one of my roommates is sort of friends with the landlord. He said he would try and find someone who wanted to keep us on but even if that happens our rent will increase probably exponentially. So now i have to see what happens and whether i will be staying or having to find a new place or what is going to happen. But my spending money is sure going to decrease A LOT.

Well whatever comes i have my training to keep me sane.

Howdy! Happy Tuesday!

I got my butt up this morning and went to the gym

I did some bike and swim then headed to work.
Work is crazy right now so the days go by quickly but they are also quite frantic feeling.

On top of that last night we found out that our landlord is going to sell the house we are renting. We don’t know if we will be staying or not or how much rent could go up. It is all up in the air, which is super stressful.

Another lovely night comiserating with Carrie Bradshaw. If you have ever spent years dating this show is soooo relatable. Whenever I feel like I might never find someone and feel lonely and hopeless this show reminds me to be strong and independent.
