I have decided that i will adopt mama (the dog). My roommate has conveyed this to the owner and now we wait. But she now feels like my fur baby and i want her with me asap!!!! I will keep too posted.

What did your Friday night consist of?

Workouts?

Ooooooh i am stoked i made my first post surgery training appt!!!! Monday November 16th i will be working out upper body. I can’t wait!!!!

And i cant wait until mama and i can get out and do some runs/walks together!

Book Review**Jurassic Park

I saw the movie for the first time years and years ago and have seen it many times since, i figured it was time to read the book.

The beginning was interesting, the intro read like an article about biology, i second guessed if it was part of the story until it mentioned Ingen.

It reminded me a little bit of resident evil how they talk about umbrella Corp growing and having their hand in everything…..though i guess since this came first maybe resident evil reminds me of this lol.

Overall i really liked the book and obviously there were differences from the movie, certain characters died different ways or different things happened and of course there was more in the book than the movie but the movie followed it pretty closely.

I really enjoyed the book and will be reading the second one.

Book Review**And Then There Were None

Happy Saturday!!!

This is my first Agatha Christie novel!
It was originally published under the name Ten Little Indians.

This is a true good old fashion who dun it, there is little to no gore, no romance, no sex, just plain set em up and knock em down. I think a lot of people my age and younger wont like it for its simplicity and slow build but it most definitely will not be my last Agatha Christie novel. I finished the book at about 10:30 at night, the book kept me guessing about the killer the whole way through and i admit i was a little paranoid about my sliding door being open before i finished it and found out the killer hahahahaha.

The only downfall was that my book had one of those unique printing errors.

I dont know if you can see it but my book goes from page 178 to page 83. A chunk of my book repeated itself so i missed about 25 pages and 2 murders lol.
Overall i enjoyed the book and never saw the killer coming. She’s not referred to as the queen of mystery for nothing!

Have you ever read an Agatha Christie novel? If so, which one and what did you think of it?

Book review**Grey

Happy Saturday!!!!

Grey is Fifty Shades of Grey told from the perspective of Christian Grey.

I ready all Fifty Shades of Grey books when they came out and have seen the movie.
Let’s be real, these books are porn, i believe the term ‘mommy porn’ was used to describe these books. I like them for what they are, a fun, dirty read.
There is not a lot of character development, from what I read online she originally based them on the twilight characters, which i think you can really see the similarities.

But in a series like this most people don’t care about character development.

All that being said i did really enjoy reading the male counterpart to the story. You get to see much more of Christian Grey’s dark past, see how his mind works; though i still don’t feel like there is much depth to the characters.

In the end i still love the books for what they are: some fun dirty reading, porn.

I suggest it for a fun summer beach read.

What do you think?
