Happy Winter Solstice!!! Today is the shortest day and longest night. Today here in the Portland area we have 8 hours 42 minutes and 11 seconds of sunlight. After today we start getting a few seconds longer of sunlight each day. I am trying to enjoy this time of year but I am also already looking forward to spring running outside again!!!

In central Indiana, it quite nice for mid December, bright sun, 45F at the moment. The length of daylight is 9:21:09, so we have a little more sun than you do today.
That sounds lovely! This morning we had frozen cars and fog, felt very mystical and solstice-y hahaha. We might get any actual sunlight today, we are quite overcast, but it’s still lovely.
